A personalised AAC app for non-verbal kids ages 2+.
Built on methods speech therapists trust.
You already know how much is going on in there. The hard part is giving them a way to show you.
That's the whole reason BublTalk exists — a calm, simple way for your child to be understood, built around the child you know.
Every bubble brings four things together at once: a sign your child makes, a picture they know, the word they hear, and something real from their day. Connecting those is how a child learns that a thing has a name.
Built on two methods speech therapists already trust: baby sign language and PECS.
A real hand sign plays inside the bubble, from baby sign language. Your child watches it, copies it, and hears the word in a warm, friendly voice.
Add photos of the people and things they know: mum, their cup, their bear. BublTalk speaks every word out loud, so each card has its own voice.
Your child drags one bubble into another. "I want" and "more" are then spoken together as one short phrase.
One voice that never switches mid-phrase. Big targets for shaky taps. A short pause so an excited double-tap does not fire twice.
You set when meals and bedtime happen. Around breakfast, breakfast foods move to the top. Near bedtime, the teddy and blanket do. The words your child needs are ready when they need them.
Save the places in your child's world — home, the park, daycare, Grandma's. When you arrive, the cards for that place quietly move to the top, so the right words are already there.
Private by design. Places are matched right on your iPad. The location itself never leaves the device.
BublTalk records your child's words as they communicate, so progress is something you can see. Export a one page report and share it with their speech therapist. Each child has their own profile on the same iPad.
No accounts, no ads, and no third-party tracking — your child's data is only ever used to make their app work.

AAC stands for augmentative and alternative communication. It covers any tool that helps someone communicate without relying on speech, from hand signs and picture cards to apps that speak words out loud. BublTalk is an AAC app built specifically for toddlers.
BublTalk is designed for children ages 2 and up who are not talking yet, or who only say a few words. It is deliberately smaller and simpler than AAC systems built for school-age children.
This is the worry almost every parent has, and research on AAC has consistently found the opposite: using AAC does not stop children from speaking, and for many children it supports speech development rather than replacing it. AAC gives a child a way to be understood while speech is still developing.
Yes. BublTalk is currently available for iPad only. The larger screen keeps the cards big enough for small hands and shaky taps.
Yes. In the parent area you can add a card in one tap from your photo library or straight from the camera, so your child sees their own mom, their own cup, their own bear rather than generic symbols.
BublTalk is free for the first 14 days. After that it is $9 a month or $90 a year, billed through the App Store, and you can cancel anytime.
Families in Florida can often be reimbursed for BublTalk through the Step Up For Students Family Empowerment Scholarship for Unique Abilities (FES-UA) as assistive technology. Any family can also apply for a scholarship code directly on this site.
